Water is charged at €1.00 per m3.

Inhabited dwelling houses are allowed 160m3 per annum free. 

Minimum charge of €20 for dwelling houses in excess of 160m3 per annum.

First land connection minimum charge €50 per annum.

All other land connections minimum charge €20 per annum.

From 1st January 2018, all domestic water connections are allocated a free allowance of 160 m3 per annum due to the subsidy available. All water in excess of this amount will be charged for. 

The GWS invoices the property or land owner directly. If the property or land is rented, we do not send invoices to the tenant - it is the owner's responsibility to ensure the bill is paid. This streamlined process helps maintain clarity and accountability for all parties involved.
